Her passion for yoga and its benefits has always been something that stands out and keeps me motivated. I have to admit that I am picky when it comes to yoga instructors and I am selective about what classes I take. So I knew I had found a great instructor when I unintentionally found myself on a consistent yoga schedule attending Gina’s classes. I really like the flow of practice with Gina, her positive attitude and her ability to explain movements in multiple ways. Her instruction and knowledge of the body systems greatly helped my understanding of yoga, movement and how my practice was benefiting me. I feel like people are lucky to get to work with Gina and I hope my yoga journey continues with her for a long time to come.

Gina is one of those rare yoga teachers I'd follow anywhere. When she teaches Sunday morning classes across town, my husband and I arrange our day to practice with Gina. Her way of teaching invites people to relax and deepen into the practice. She has a lovely way of incorporating the physical practice with yoga's spiritual qualities in a natural and welcoming manner. I believe the best teachers are the ones who encourage the student to work hard and leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and enlivened. Gina is one of those teachers.

I have to say she is one of the best! I always start and end class with a renewed sense of self as a result of her calm yet effective way of teaching. Gina has a way that naturally inspires, encourages and builds confidence. She always takes her time in explaining postures and the reasoning behind each posture as well as offers alternate postures based on each person’s ability.
I have to say one of my favorite sayings that Gina uses is “Be bright and shiny”. That is something I constantly think of when I think of Gina. She is the epitome of that! Her energy and commitment to the yoga practice is evident every time you step into class. In my opinion anyone who is lucky enough to practice under the guidance of Gina will not only physically feel better but more importantly mentally have a better sense of self. Yoga to me is a personal journey, and with Gina that journey does become “bright and shiny” each time you step into the classroom.
